ArchWell Health, a national leader in value-based healthcare for individuals aged sixty and above, is expanding into the Jacksonville metropolitan area.
ArchWell’s Chief Clinical OfficerDr. Judith Ford is excited to bring the firm’s patient centered approach to the area. “Jacksonville is home to the largest retirement population in the state of Florida and we are wholeheartedly prepared to bring our commitment and expertise to this market,” Dr. Ford commented.
Four new Jacksonville centers are now fully operational, in the Arlington, Jacksonville Heights, Normandy, and Orange Park area, plans are underway to open a fifth area center in October and a sixth location in January.
The company currently operates primary care centers in eleven states. Each center is conveniently located in neighborhoods with ease of access and provides an opportunity for patients to connect with a close knit, caring community.

“We want to be where the community needs support. That’s the whole idea, just a short drive for anyone that might need us,” says Timothy Jeans, ArchWell’s Regional Growth Director.
Archwell’s centers work exclusively with Medicare Advantage plan members. “Just as a pediatrician does for kids, we offer that same kind of intensity and focus for seniors,” Jeans explains.
ArchWell Health’s physicians help members improve their health, reduce the effects of chronic diseases, and live healthier lives. Each center’s patient-to-doctor ratio is below the national average and doctors dedicate more time to each individual member, addressing every patient’s unique health challenges. Members appreciate longer appointment times, in-house lab testing, same-day scheduling and weekly social activities.
“One of my favorite aspects of our model of care is that our members can get same-day sick appointments if they aren’t feeling well,” says Jeans.

“The amount of time that people end up in an emergency room drops dramatically if we can see them immediately. They’re seen by someone from the care team that they already know. It’s much more seamless and comfortable all around,” he adds.
Membership consultants are in place to help members fill out paperwork and navigate their care options.
Seniors, their families and caregivers, local organizations, and other community members are invited to learn more about ArchWell Health physicians, professional staff, comprehensive healthcare services, and extra-curricular offerings during their upcoming Grand Opening events. Each one will feature a catered meal, live entertainment, refreshments, center tours, and giveaways.
