Choose between a 5K and a 10-mile course through Evergreen Cemetery, where pumpkins line the route beneath mature oak and magnolia trees. Both runners and walkers are welcome, and the morning includes a costume contest, finisher medals, food and drinks, and a chance to take home a pumpkin after the race. From October 1–17, registration is $40 for the 5K and $45 for the 10-mile race; prices increase after October 17.
